Fort Macleod Glass is searching for a General Laborer to join our growing installation team. We work a 4-day work week — Monday to Thursday, with Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays off!

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation and finishing work on residential and commercial windows and doors
- Take measurements for installations
- Exemplify strong organizational skills for job preparation
- Maintain a clean organized work site at all stages of construction
- Ability to provide high customer satisfaction
- Work with our Site Foreman to troubleshoot any issues that may arise on jobsite while maintaining high quality of workmanship
- Maintain safe work environment by adhering to all local health and safety laws and regulations.
- Assist in loading and unload all required job materials at the beginning and end of project
- Conduct preventative maintenance on tools and equipment
We do not require you to transport yourself to job sites, but to our main shop location in the Industrial area of Fort Macleod, AB.
Skills:
- Strong communication skills to maintain high level of customer service while on the job site
- Ability to read a tape measure (a must) and review installation paperwork
- General awareness of how to operate hand tools
- A willingness to accept and build from constructive criticism
Qualifications:
- Basic Construction experience is not required but would be beneficial for the position.
- Heavy lifting regularly (75-150lbs) required for this role
- High school diploma
