What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
- Deliver Exceptional Service: Welcome guests warmly, take accurate food and beverage orders, and anticipate guest needs throughout their meal.
- Menu Expertise: Guide guests through our menu, confidently making recommendations and answering questions about ingredients and preparation.
- Maintain Atmosphere: Ensure the dining room, service stations, and side areas remain clean, organized, and beautifully presented.
- Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly with the kitchen staff and fellow FOH team members to ensure smooth, well-timed service.
- Daily Operations: Handle POS transactions accurately, manage running side-work, and adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
What We’re Looking For (Basic Requirements)
- Previous experience as a server in a fast-paced restaurant environment is preferred, but a great attitude and willingness to learn go a long way!
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills—you love interacting with people.
- Ability to stay calm, organized, and efficient under pressure.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evening shifts.
- [Insert Local Certification, e.g., Serving It Right / Smart Serve / Food Handlers Certificate] is required.
Preferred Assets (The Ideal Candidate)
- Deep appreciation or knowledge of Korean cuisine and culture. (e.g., understanding dishes like Galbi, Bulgogi, traditional stews, and proper table etiquette).
- Ability to enthusiastically explain Korean flavor profiles, side dishes (Banchan), and dining concepts to guests who might be trying it for the first time.
- Fluency in Korean is a wonderful bonus, though not required!
