Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Appliance Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of household and commercial appliances. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently to ensure customer satisfaction and appliance longevity. The Appliance Technician plays a vital role in providing reliable solutions that meet our clients' needs efficiently and professionally.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose appliance issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools
- Repair and replace faulty components in appliances such as washers, dryers, refrigerators, ovens
- Perform routine maintenance to prevent future breakdowns
- Install new appliances according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures clearly to clients
- Maintain accurate documentation of services performed and parts used
- Follow safety protocols during all repair activities to ensure a safe working environment
- Keep work area clean and organized after each service call
Experience
- Proven electrical experience with the ability to interpret schematics and wiring diagrams
- Mechanical knowledge related to appliance repair
- Hands-on experience with appliance repair, including troubleshooting and component replacement
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Familiarity with assembly processes for appliances or related equipment is a plus
- Prior experience working with schematics, HVAC systems, or similar technical fields is preferred
