Dental Assistant (Full-Time)

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Dental Assistant to join our experienced and growing team. This position is ideal for a motivated, dependable, and patient-focused individual who enjoys both clinical assisting and supporting the administrative flow of a busy dental practice. Clinical Responsibilities
- Prepare operatories for patient treatment.
- Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures.
- Maintain strict infection prevention and sterilization protocols.
- Take and process digital radiographs.
- Prepare dental materials, instruments, and treatment rooms.
- Update clinical charting and patient records accurately.
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education.
- Monitor clinical inventory and assist with stocking supplies.
- Ensure treatment rooms remain clean, organized, and prepared throughout the day.
- Maintain a high standard of patient care while ensuring a positive clinical experience.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Welcome patients with professionalism and warmth.
- Assist with patient check-in and check-out as required.
- Answer a multi-line telephone system and respond to patient inquiries.
- Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments.
- Verify insurance information and assist patients with insurance-related questions.
- Process patient payments and maintain accurate financial records.
- Support the administrative team with recalls, appointment confirmations, treatment scheduling, scanning, filing, and general office duties.
- Work collaboratively with both the clinical and administrative teams to ensure the efficient operation of the practice.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Dental Assisting certification and be in good standing where applicable.
- Previous dental assisting experience is preferred.
- Experience using Dentrix or similar dental practice management software is considered an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Schedule
Full-Time
Our office operates Monday through Friday, with alternate Saturdays. Scheduling details will be discussed during the interview process.
