The Opportunity
We aren’t your average "mom and pop" shop. We are a high-growth trailer dealership that increased sales by over 30% last year and are on track to repeat that trajectory. We are currently moving over 50-100 units per month, and we need a professional closer to take the lead on our sales floor. If you are tired of "waiting for the phone to ring" and want to work in an environment where the volume is proven and the systems are modern, this is your seat.
The Role
Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will own the entire customer lifecycle. We don't do "order takers." We need a consultant who can guide a customer from their first inquiry to the final signature. You will be responsible for managing a high-volume pipeline, ensuring every lead is followed up on, and executing a "Clean Close" for every deal.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Mastery: Manage incoming inquiries via phone, email, and walk-ins. You will be expected to use our Dealer Management Software (DMS) to track every interaction—no lead left behind.
- The Clean Close: Take every deal from Quote to Close. This includes unit selection, creating formal quotes, collecting deposits, and ensuring the Bill of Sale is signed and ready for the Admin team.
- Outbound "Hunter" Mindset: Proactively follow up with older leads and "lost" opportunities. In a 100-unit-per-month environment, the fortune is in the follow-up.
- Inventory Stewardship: Conduct daily lot walks to ensure your "storefront" looks premium. Coordinate with the Ops Manager to ensure units are "Sell-Ready" before the customer arrives.
- F&I Liaison: Work closely with the COO to structure finance and lease deals that get customers behind the wheel while maximizing dealership profit.
- Digital Storefront Management: Proactively post and manage inventory listings on Facebook Marketplace and local buy/sell groups.
- Social Lead Engagement: Monitor and respond to Marketplace inquiries in real-time to convert "Is this available?" messages into lot visits.
- Asset Capture: Take high-quality photos and videos of new inventory to ensure listings stand out against the competition.
Who You Are
- The Professional: You treat sales as a craft. You understand that "closing" is a service you provide to help the customer get the equipment they need.
- Tech-Forward: You are comfortable working within a DMS or CRM. You understand that if it isn't in the system, it didn't happen.
- High Gear: You thrive in high-volume environments. Handling 5+ deliveries in a day doesn't rattle you; it motivates you.
- Experience: 3+ years of successful sales experience. Experience in automotive, heavy equipment, or power sports is a massive asset.
- Social Media Savvy: You are a frequent user of Facebook Marketplace and understand how the algorithm works to keep listings visible.
- Digital Communicator: You can maintain a professional tone while messaging on social platforms and understand the "speed-to-lead" required for digital inquiries.
- Account Access: You are comfortable utilizing a Facebook account for daily business posting and lead management.
Why Join Us?
- Proven Volume: We move 100+ units a month. The leads are here; we just need you to close them.
- Modern Leadership: Work with a COO and CMO who are invested in professionalizing the industry and providing the tools you need to succeed.
- Growth: We are expanding to multiple locations. We hire the future leaders of our company today.
Requirements

- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing high-end deals.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple prospects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated success in developing and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline.
- Experience in sales management or supporting dealership operations is a plus.
- Exceptional communication skills—both verbal and written—and professional phone etiquette.
- Knowledge of marketing strategies and basic math skills for pricing and deal calculations.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to build lasting relationships. This position offers an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals passionate about driving sales growth while delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced environment.
