Job Summary
Finan Home Service is hiring a Food Service Utility Worker to support daily kitchen and food service operations by maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment. This role is responsible for dishwashing, cleaning kitchen equipment, assisting with food preparation, stocking supplies, and supporting kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal service.

Key Responsibilities
- Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Clean and maintain kitchen workstations, dining areas, and food preparation spaces
- Assist with basic food preparation, portioning, and ingredient setup
- Stock food, beverages, and kitchen supplies as needed
- Remove trash and recycling while maintaining sanitation standards
- Operate dishwashing and cleaning equipment safely
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
- Support kitchen staff during meal preparation and service
- Report equipment malfunctions or supply shortages to supervisors
- Perform additional kitchen utility and cleaning duties assigned by management
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in food service, kitchen operations, or dishwashing is an asset but not required
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to cleanliness and organization
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads
