Reporting to the Project Manager, the Bussing/Project Coordinator position will be field based and located on an industrial work site. This position will work closely with Project Managers and other team members and will be responsible for coordination of all production requirements including but not limited to safety, quality, administration, scheduling, cost controls, client/sub-contractor/craft communication and management.
This role will work a 5 on / 2 off off schedule in the central Saskatchewan Area (travel from Regina/Saskatoon provided via client bussing, and camp accommodation when onsite).
What You Will Be Working On
Support with the preparation and execution of overall work plan and schedule.
Review and process vendor submittals.
Coordination of material and equipment needs.
Coordinate with key subcontractors on provision of bussing services at the client site.
Actively review and manage daily passenger counts and suggest areas for improvement, value and optimization.
Manage all aspects of the bussing services scope of work.
Support procurement activities with the review and handling of purchase orders, packing slips and order processing.
Prepare weekly productivity and cost tracking.
Prepare cost estimates for change orders and audit purposes.
Price site instructions, work orders and change notices.
Assist with quality assurance and management of client expectations
Assist with maintenance of project files and preparation of reports.
Participate in on-site safety meetings and be a leader of initiatives.
Provide safety leadership through implementation of the Bird Safety Program and monitoring the safety performance of the project team and subcontractors.
Foster and maintain positive relations and communication with clients, consultants, architects, and subcontractors.
Build and manage business relationships.
What We Are Looking For
Post secondary education considered an asset.
3 or more years of work experience in a fast paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
Highly motivated and able to complete assignments with minimal direct supervision.
Knowledge of standard health, safety, and environmental requirements and practices in the construction industry
Drivers license and able to operate a motor vehicle required.
Ability to work a 5 day on, 2 day off schedule in the central Saskatchewan Area (travel from Regina/Saskatoon provided via client bussing, and camp accommodation when onsite)
