Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Production Control Planner to join our team.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working in a warehouse/manufacturing environment, and willing to learn.
Core Responsibilities
- Production Scheduling: Create and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on sales forecasts and incoming orders.
- Material & Capacity Planning: Manage inventory levels and track raw materials to prevent both stockouts and overstocking. Ensure machinery, manpower, and equipment capacity are sufficient to meet targets.
- System Management: Maintain data integrity within the company’s ERP.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with Procurement, Logistics, Sales, and Operations to adjust for changing priorities, expedited orders, or delays.
- Problem Solving: Identify schedule interruptions (e.g., labor shortages, equipment downtime) and formulate actionable solutions.
- Reporting: Monitor performance indicators (KPIs) like schedule attainment and cycle time, presenting data-driven reports to manager.
Key Requirements
- Experience: Typically 2 to 5 years in a manufacturing, supply chain, or scheduling environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong capacity to interpret data, forecast trends, and mitigate risks.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills to coordinate between shop-floor personnel, engineering, and customer service.
- Certifications: Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is highly preferred
