We're looking for a freelance Canadian French–speaking specialist to conduct a focused French-language interview component with our Quebec candidates. This is an independent contractor engagement, scheduled on an as-needed basis around our active hiring cycles. You'll bring your own professional expertise and manage your own schedule.
This is an excellent fit for an independent HR consultant or bilingual recruiter with experience in Quebec hiring contexts looking for flexible, project-based work.

Conduct a focused French-language interview component (approximately 30 minutes per candidate) to assess fluency and role fit
- Provide a brief written assessment/scorecard for our recruiting team after each interview
- Scheduled as-needed, around active hiring cycles
- Initially will be higher volume as we secure our first QC team members.

Native or near-native Canadian French (français québécois), with strong professional English
- Background in HR, recruiting, or interviewing
- Familiarity with Quebec employment and hiring context preferred
- Professional, warm, and reliable — you'll be representing Headkount to candidates
- Operates as an independent contractor / freelance business (own business number an asset)
- Comfortable working independently and managing your own schedule
