What you’ll do
It’s safe to say, there’s no shortage of variety in what we do. Here are some key responsibilities of the role:

This position is responsible for the financial modelling, reporting, planning and analysis related to all Distribution Services of the greater TJX Canada organization.

Responsible for the financial reporting of DC’s annual expense budget, creating financial models to support recommendations for related business partners, creating monthly rolling plans, and conducting variance analysis.

Responsible for financial analysis and forecasting related to payroll and other period expense variances.

Provide financial expertise/analysis to support Distribution Services organizational initiatives.

Ad hoc reporting, models, and analysis, as required.
What you’ll need
To begin your career with us, you’ll have:
-
Completed post-secondary education in a related field (e.g. Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics).
-
Minimum three (3) years of professional experience with financial modelling, reporting, budgeting/forecasting and analysis; experience supporting Distribution and/or Supply Chain Operations is an asset.

Related professional designation (e.g. CA, CPA) is considered an asset; in-progress designations will be taken into consideration.

Proven analytical & problem-solving skills including ability to analyze information and knowledge of database design/manipulation concepts.
- Demonstrated ability to apply knowledge of GAAP policies to develop and/or lead tactical initiatives in support of Warehouse, Distribution or Fulfillment Centre operations, with guidance and support from Senior Management.

Excellent computer skills including word processing (MS Word, MS Office Suite) and spreadsheets (MS Excel); experience using database and data manipulation tools such as TM1, Monarch, Spyview, Tableau, Power BI.

Self-starter with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work in a detail-oriented, multi-project environment while meeting tight and fixed deadlines.
Salary Range: $58,910 - $82,472 /year*
- This represents the expected hiring range and may not represent the full pay range for the position. The salary offered may be higher than the posted range depending on several factors such as relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
