JOB OVERVIEW:
Sales Associate / Member Experience Representative. The Sales Associate plays a key role in creating a welcoming and positive experience for both new and existing members. This position supports the General Manager in driving membership growth by building relationships within the community, introducing prospective members to the studio, and booking Intro Classes. The Sales Associate is also responsible for supporting member retention by delivering exceptional customer service and fostering a strong sense of community within the studio.
A passion for health, wellness, and fitness is preferred. Pilates experience or knowledge is an asset, but not required.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent Sale, communication, customer service, and sales skills required
- Positive, outgoing, and goal-oriented personality
- Ability to meet and exceed sales goals in memberships, retail, private training, and teacher training programs
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Comfortable learning and using Club Ready software
- Professional and confident communication skills in person, over the phone, and through email
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient computer skills
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods throughout the workday
- Flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends
- Occasional local travel may be required for events and community outreach
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Execute the full sales process including lead generation, follow-up, studio tours, and membership closing
- Build genuine relationships with prospective and current members
- Conduct studio tours while identifying individual goals and recommending appropriate services
- Promote memberships, retail, private training, and teacher training opportunities
- Book high-quality Intro Class appointments to support monthly sales goals
- Deliver an exceptional member experience that supports retention and community engagement
- Participate in community events, wellness fairs, grand openings, and local partnerships to promote the studio
- Maintain personal sales goals and contribute to overall studio success
- Continuously develop sales and customer service skills
- Support daily studio operations and assist with additional duties as needed
