JGN Farms Ltd. is seeking two dedicated harvesting labourers to join our team in Wingham, Ontario, Canada. The Harvesting Labourer is responsible for supporting the daily operations of a grain and soybean farm. This position involves assisting with crop production, harvest activities, grain handling, equipment operation, and general farm maintenance while ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently.
Job Description
- Assist with planting, cultivating, and harvesting grain and soybean crops.
- Operate farm machinery and equipment safely and assist with routine maintenance and minor repairs.
- Assist with receiving, handling, storing, and shipping grain products.
- Clean, sort, package, and prepare soybeans for processing and distribution.
- Monitor the quality of soybeans and other grain products throughout the cleaning and processing stages.
- Follow all workplace health and safety policies, biosecurity protocols, and safe operating procedures.
- Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of farm buildings, equipment, yards, and other outdoor areas.
- Perform general farm labour as required, including loading and unloading materials, cleaning work areas, and supporting farm operations.
- Work collaboratively with other farm employees to ensure daily production goals are met.
Requirements:
- Previous farm experience is an asset but not required; training will be provided.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions.
- Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work extended hours during peak planting and harvest seasons.

Wage & Vacancies:
$20.75 per hour working full time with an average 40-50 hours per week.
