The Program Evaluator will consult with the program submissions team and Senior Management team for all Blockchain Technology related programs.
PTIB Standards:
Credential Requirement:
- Relevant credential plus a minimum of 2 years of occupational experience in career occupations relevant to the program of instruction.
- No credential but a minimum of 10 years of occupational experience in a career relevant to the program of instruction.
Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Blockchain Technologies, or a related field.
- Advanced coursework or specializations in blockchain technologies.
Professional Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in blockchain roles such as
- Blockchain Developer, Blockchain Architect, Blockchain Consultant, or Blockchain Project Manager.
- Experience in both academic and industry settings is preferred.
- Prior experience in teaching or training in a post-secondary or professional setting.
Skills and Competencies:
- Previous curriculum and program development experience is considered an asset.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Solidity, JavaScript, Python, or C++.
- Expertise in blockchain frameworks and platforms (e.g., Ethereum, Hyperledger, Corda).
- Strong understanding of cryptographic methods and distributed ledger technologies.
- Experience with smart contract development and deployment.
- Ability to analyze and design blockchain architectures and applications.
- Demonstrates valuing diversity and intercultural competence
- Previous curriculum and program development experience is considered an asset.
- Capable of working independently as well as being part of a team.
- Being able to work under pressure/fast-paced environment and deliver on scheduled deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and logical thinking.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Compensation:
- This will be a contract position that will pay $250.00 to $300 Canadian per project
