Business Development Assistant (8-Week Temporary Position)
Pay: $20.00/hour
Location: Edmonton, AB
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday–Friday

About the Role
We are looking for an energetic and motivated young person to help grow our presence in Alberta. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sales, marketing, business development, and community engagement.
Responsibilities may include:
- Researching local businesses and employment trends
- Contacting potential clients by phone and email
- Assisting with marketing and outreach activities
- Updating client information and tracking activities
- Supporting the sales team with administrative tasks
- Attending local business and client meetings
- Representing EMBERS in a professional and positive manner
What We're Looking For
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable speaking with people by phone, email, and in person
- Organized and able to manage multiple tasks
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Willingness to learn and take initiative
- Interest in business, sales, marketing, employment services, or community development
- Sales or business development experience is an asset.
- Valid driver's licence is required
