We are looking for an experienced Finishing Carpenter to join our team for residential renovation projects in Greater Victoria.
The work includes interior finishing, doors, casing, baseboard, trim, hardware, paneling, built-ins, deficiencies, and other detailed finish work. We are looking for someone who takes pride in clean, accurate work and can work well on occupied residential renovation sites.
Responsibilities:
Install interior doors, casing, baseboards, trim, shelving, hardware, and other finishing details
Complete deficiency work and touch-ups to a high standard
Read basic plans and follow site direction
Keep work areas clean and organized
Communicate clearly with the site lead, clients, and other trades
Work independently or as part of a small crew
Requirements:
Experience in finish carpentry
Strong attention to detail
Reliable transportation
Basic carpentry/finishing tools
Ability to work cleanly in finished or occupied homes
Good communication and professional attitude
Photos of past work are an asset
Nice to have:
Experience with residential renovations
Built-ins, paneling, custom trim, or millwork installation experience
Ability to do layout and solve site details independently
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
