- Manage full-cycle recruitment for skilled trades, supervisors, and technical roles across industrial construction projects — from intake through offer acceptance
- Source and attract candidates through direct outreach, networking, job fairs, and career events
- Build proactive talent pipelines for high-demand trades including welders, pipefitters, millwrights, ironworkers, electricians, and more
- Partner closely with project managers, superintendents, and site leadership to forecast workforce needs
- Build and maintain relationships with trade schools, apprenticeship programs, and industry associations
- Coordinate all pre-access and onboarding requirements, including certifications, drug and alcohol testing, and site-specific safety orientations
- Screen and interview candidates with a strong focus on both technical and cultural fit
- Maintain accurate candidate records and requisition statuses in the ATS and provide timely updates to stakeholders
- Track recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, offer acceptance rates, and source effectiveness
- Provide day-to-day support to the HR Manager across a broad range of HR functions and initiatives
Support HR initiatives, reporting, and special projects as the team grows

- Diploma or degree in Business Administration – Human Resources (strongly preferred)
- 1–4 years of recruitment experience; industrial construction, trades, oil & gas, or heavy civil experience is a strong asset
- Working knowledge of union environments
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply Collective Agreements
- Experience supporting both union and non-union workforces
- Familiarity with employment contracts and offer letter administration
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS)
- Ability to build rapport across all levels of the organization
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s licence; occasional site visits required
