We are looking for two seasoned Electrical Engineers to join us in designing and developing cutting-edge solutions that meet rigorous performance standards and exceed customer expectations.
Position Overview
In this hybrid role, you’ll split your time between on-site collaboration at our Mississauga office and remote work. Occasional travel may be required for project commissioning and technical support at client sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Design & Development: Lead the design and development of products, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and client requirements.
- Schematic Drafting & Review: Create or review electrical schematics using, maintaining accurate documentation throughout the design cycle.
- PLC Programming: Develop and maintain PLC programs (primarily in Structured Text) using CODESYS.
- Product Testing & Commissioning: Oversee testing processes, ensure quality control for complex products, and facilitate on-site commissioning when needed (occasional travel required).
- Technical Support: Provide expert technical assistance to both internal teams and clients, troubleshooting issues and recommending solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in Electrical Engineering.
- Professional experience in power distribution, power generation, switchgear, or transformer industries (highly valued).
- Proficiency in electrical drafting tools (e.g. AutoCAD, SolidWorks Electrical, DraftSight, ePLAN)
- Hands-on experience with PLC programming (Structured Text), ideally using CODESYS.
- Strong time management skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Robust understanding of engineering processes.
Preferred
- P.Eng. license in Ontario
- Software development experience

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
