Job Summary
- We are looking for a driven, high capacity leader to take on one of the biggest and most demanding roles in the Canadian automotive industry.
- This is not a small store manager position. This is an opportunity to grow a newly acquired import dealership.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall performance, growth and daily operations of the dealership. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast paced environment, can lead large teams, hold people accountable, make tough decisions, and drive results across every department.
- You will oversee Sales, Parts, Service, Finance & Insurance and Marketing while working closely with senior leadership to execute business strategy and growth plans.
What you'll be doing:
As the General Manager, You’ll lead store growth, building the team, the culture, and the momentum.
- Leading the overall day to day operations of the dealership
- Driving profitability, revenue growth and market share
- Managing and developing department managers and leadership teams
- Creating a strong culture of accountability, performance and customer experience
- Ensuring departments are operating efficiently and hitting KPI targets
- Managing staffing, hiring and coaching
- Driving new and used inventory strategy and aged inventory management
- Working with OEM partners and maintaining strong brand relationships
- Leading marketing, events and promotional strategy alongside internal marketing teams
- Ensuring operational consistency, process execution and strong communication across departments
- Driving continuous improvement in customer satisfaction and employee engagement
- Managing large scale operational challenges while keeping teams motivated and focused
- Supporting long term strategic growth of the dealership and division

- Proven leadership experience in a new car dealership, either as a general sales manager or general manager.
- Strong financial and operational understanding
- Ability to lead large teams in a fast paced environment
- High level of accountability and organizational skills
- Strong communication and problem solving abilities
- Experience managing multiple departments and leaders
- Ability to create momentum, energy and urgency within a team
- Comfortable making difficult decisions and leading through challenges
- Passion for cars and customer experience is considered a major asset

Pay: $100,000.00-$500,000.00 per year
