We're looking for an Assistant Gas Bar Manager at our Lacombe Gas Bar to help oversee daily operations, support our team, and ensure a safe, positive experience for customers. Position: Assistant Gas Bar Manager
Term: This is a temporary contract for approximately 12 months
Full-time: 40 hours per week
Availability: Weekdays and weekends - mornings, afternoons and evenings
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a friendly and co-operative attitude in the workplace each day
- Oversee the operation and administration of the gas bar in the manager's absence
- Manage the procurement of merchandise within the gas bar
- Ensure the receiving and handling of merchandise meets Centre Alberta Co-op policies, procedures and standards
- Provide leadership in the areas of loss prevention and health & safety
- Contribute to a positive customer experience, ensuring products and service provided aligns with the expectations of external and internal customers
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 or an acceptable combination of education and experience
- Three (3) years retail supervisor experience
- Business related education would be an asset
- Some heavy lifting is required (up to 50 lbs.)
