Noto Gelato is a Calgary based food company that produces premium gelato and sorbetto products by using authentic recipes and manufacturing techniques. The company was founded in 2020 and is growing its staff to facilitate the production of gelato for customers who visit Noto’s Bridgeland location, and distribute product to restaurants and grocers.
The Position:
Production associates will be responsible for supporting the manufacturing of Noto’s gelato and sorbetto products. The manufacturing process includes packaging preparation, recipe assembly, operating of gelato equipment, as well as packaging the finished product. Noto Gelato is looking for candidates interested in learning the gelato production process who are able to work in a face paced and creative environment.
What you will do:
- Assisting in prepping recipes and production
- Labelling products, receiving materials
- Packaging finished product, and packaging for shipping/distribution
- Inventory count
- General cleaning, washing dishes and contributing to the cleanliness of the facility
What you will need:
- Ability to stay organized and keep up in a fast paced environment
- Adherence to cleanliness standards
- Willingness to learn and be a team player
- Availability to work various shifts
- Previous similar experience is a plus
- Food Safety Certificate would be considered an asset
- Kitchen experience would be considered an asset
- A high school diploma
- Ability to lift 30 lbs and work on your feet
