We are seeking a motivated and hardworking Production Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the glass industry and have a strong commitment to quality and safety. Experience in production, manufacturing, carpentry and construction is also considered an asset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate security panels and Rockglass IGU’s according to specifications and quality standards
- Operate machinery and hand tools used in production safely and efficiently
- Ensure quality control and adherence to safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to meet quality and production targets.
- Perform specialized tasks such as spacer application, argon filling, sealing, etc
- Inspecting glass surfaces for imperfections.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Qualifications:
- Experience in the glass industry is preferred
- Experience in manufacturing or production is a strong asset
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work in a high-paced environment
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials up to 100 lbs
- Basic understanding of math is required for understanding measurements.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and challenges
- Must have reliable mode of transportation
- Steel-toed safety boots required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
