Our Applications Development team is focused on developing leading-edge, web-based applications for assessing organizations against standards of excellence, mostly in the health industry.

If you’re right for this opportunity, you are tech-savvy, and a self-starter who enjoys working independently and also collaborate with the team. You are exceptionally detail orientated, have detective-like skills and enjoy digging into the requirements. You have tried and tested patience - some validations can have up to 1000 requirements that need validating!

Let’s break it down. Your responsibilities include:
Quality Assurance – being able to understand requirements and test various products against them.
Troubleshooting extraordinaire, digging for causes of problems and helping identify solutions.
Lead exploratory and functional (i.e. manual) testing of our products and platforms to ensure the user experience is high quality.
Contribute knowledge, tools, techniques and best practice to common testing tools/processes across the organization to increase efficiency.
Engage in the planning of new customer product features with other members of the team and translate this into a flexible test plan focused on areas of the highest value, whilst being mindful of the broader customer experience impact of the addition of new product and technical functionality.
Develop automated test suites where appropriate, to hasten the testing process
Working in a fast-paced environment that requires quick thinking and quick turnaround of accurate, high-quality deliverables.
Able to understand the workflow of the application and work with business analysts, application team members, and other Application Testers to integrate, regression test, and manage all tasks associated with quality assurance of all identified systems.
Understand data flow from various systems, and support the specified application’s integration in a test setting.
Provide testing support during production deployments, maintenance windows, and emergency production issue investigation.
You have a unique history. Does it include the education and experience listed below?

Minimum of 3-5 years in experience as a QA Tester; in IT Support or related field.
University or College degree in a related field.
Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent computer skills (Microsoft 365, MS Project, databases).
Experience with automated testing technologies (written in javascript, node.js, Java, Go) that can be applied to both user-facing products and APIs alike.
Experience testing on one or more platforms e.g. Windows, web, iOS, Android, and knowledge of the differences between the range of browsers and operating systems.
Experience gathering insight from Customer Service teams or similar customer feedback mechanisms, and using that to prioritize and refine testing approaches.
