Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part Time Speech Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a hospital setting, particularly in acute care, and will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders in patients of all ages. This role requires a strong focus on patient care and effective case management to ensure optimal outcomes for our patients.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and client needs.
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve communication skills and swallowing functions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic client care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes.
- Stay updated with the latest medical terminology and advancements in speech therapy practices.
Requirements
- A Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current provincial licensure or certification as a Speech Therapist.
- Previous pediatric experience, particularly in working with neurodivergent children.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Pay: $80.00-$103.78 per hour
