Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Linear Algebra Teacher to join our educational team. Duties
- Develop and deliver engaging lessons on linear algebra concepts tailored to students’ learning levels
- Prepare instructional materials, assignments, and assessments to evaluate student progress
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and curiosity
- Provide individualized tutoring support to students needing extra help with math concepts
- Incorporate technology and computer skills into lessons to enhance learning experiences
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and educational strategies
- Support students with special education needs by adapting teaching methods accordingly
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degrees preferred
- Proven experience teaching math, particularly linear algebra, in classroom or tutoring settings
- Strong understanding of math concepts and ability to explain complex topics clearly
- Experience working with children or young adults in educational environments
- Knowledge of classroom management techniques and inclusive teaching practices for special education students
- Proficiency with computer software relevant to teaching and curriculum development
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate students
- Prior experience in tutoring or working with diverse learner needs is highly desirable
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
