Job Summary
Join our dynamic food manufacturing team as a Food Process Worker! In this energetic role, you will be an essential part of the food processing operation, ensuring products are prepared efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. Your hands-on involvement will include operating packaging equipment, maintaining sanitation protocols, and supporting overall manufacturing processes. Duties
- Operate packaging machinery and equipment to assemble food products efficiently and accurately
- Assist with food processing tasks, including ingredient handling and product assembly
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the production area to ensure food safety compliance
- Use forklifts safely to move raw materials, finished goods, and supplies within the facility
- Conduct basic math calculations for measurements, weights, and quantities during production processes
- Perform routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify mechanical issues or maintenance needs
- Follow all safety protocols related to food safety, sanitation, and equipment operation to prevent contamination or accidents
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food industry manufacturing or processing is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory (training available)
- Strong understanding of sanitation practices in a food processing environment
- Good math skills for measurements and quality checks
- Knowledge of food safety standards and protocols to ensure compliance at all times
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced setting
