Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
- Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions, and provide outstanding service to ensure a memorable experience
- Handle cash register operations using Micros POS or similar systems, including cash handling and basic math calculations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including food prep areas and dining spaces
- Support food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, salads, or snacks in accordance with food safety standards
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality
- Follow food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are consistently met
Skills
- Proven barista experience with knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage presentation
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS or similar cashiering software
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and order calculations
- Experience in the food industry or food service environment is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
