Manager, Commercial and Financial Performance Management

Reporting to the Director, Commercial and Financial Performance Management (CFPM), this individual will have extensive interaction will all levels of the organization and will be responsible for delivering value-added business analysis and meaningful financial/operational reports that lead to insightful, accurate business decision making. Working closely with the Finance team, this person will take a lead role in the development and preparation of all aspects of financial analysis and reporting. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter, able to prioritize tasks, has excellent communication skills, and brings significant experience in corporate finance.

Job Description:Major Job Functions:
Develop and manage the continued development of the annual consolidated budget, financial forecasting, operating plans and modeling processes
Prepare/consolidate monthly/quarterly reporting packages including financial statements, management presentations, comprehensive Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting, variance analysis, and executive commentary
Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes
Engage with operating regional finance leadership as a proactive, trusted financial business partner and drive business and operational performance to improve financial outcomes
Provide meaningful, value-added analysis and actionable recommendations to management to meet key performance targets and improve operational efficiencies
Respond to ad hoc business requirements for management and prepare ad hoc reports providing recommendations / conclusions to management
Identify and implement process efficiency improvements; continuously standardize and improve the budgeting and forecasting processes
Coordinate and communicate information between the CFPM team and the rest of the organization
Prepare presentations to executive, leadership teams, and third parties
Supervise, develop, and manage the performance of a team of 2-3 financial analysts
Exhibit flexibility and willingness to take on new responsibilities and assignments, as needed

Specific Skills & Knowledge:
Track record building finance processes and models strongly preferred
Must possess highest standard of accuracy and precision and be highly organized
Must be an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills
Must be eager to develop and grow as a highly motivated team leader
Must have supervisory experience and proven team building skills
Must be highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint

Education & Experience:
Bachelors’ degree in Finance or related degree, plus a professional designation (CPA, CMA); or MBA
7+ years of experience in a large sized company preferably with international exposure with 3+ years of experience as a Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis
Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on management capacity
Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting aggressive deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates
