EY currently has an opening for a Payroll Coordinator within our Core Business Services. As a Payroll Coordinator you’ll assist with the processing of the semi-monthly payroll for EY employees.
Your key responsibilities.
Key semi-monthly payroll into system
Ensure accurate employee records are maintained in Ceridian payroll database eg; new hires, salary changes, terminations
Process payroll changes
Set up new employees in the payroll system
Prepare payroll journal entries
Handle employee queries
Assist other payroll staff on an as needed basis
Attend to any other duties or special projects as assigned
To qualify for the role, you must have:
3-5 years of Payroll experience and relevant accounting experience in analysis and reconciliations.
Working knowledge of Ceridian on-line payroll system, INSYNC and Crystal-Report Writer
Experience in processing payroll of 1000 employees or greater
Strong working knowledge of MS Excel and Word
Strong team player, capable of performing in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Excellent (English) written and verbal communication skills
Able to deal with confidential information with a high degree of diplomacy
