JOB OVERVIEW
The AZ Driver/Material handler is responsible for operating commercial vehicles to transport materials and equipment while ensuring compliance with all transportation regulations. When not driving, this role will involve material handling, loading and unloading of product, operation of grounds keeping equipment (lawn/snow removal) and warehouse support. The ideal candidate will possess a valid AZ drivers license, a clean driver’s abstract, and the physical ability to perform various warehouse tasks. This position offers year round full time work, competitive pay and an AZ license premium.

JOB DUTIES

Safely operate AZ-class commercial vehicles in compliance with all transportation regulations.

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
-
Deliver and pick up materials, equipment and product as required

Secure loads and ensure safe transportation of goods

Assist with loading, unloading, organizing and moving materials

Perform warehouse and yard duties when not assigned to driving tasks.

Maintain accurate records, logs and documentation,
-
Material handling of raw materials and finished goods including storage and identification

Preparing products for shipment to the Customer and implementing quality
-
Keep the yard clean, organized and in efficient order. While providing regular updates on yard activities, challenges, and progress.

Ensuring all material handling equipment is maintained in proper working condition.

Enforce company safety policies and procedures to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulations.

Groundskeeping – lawn cutting and snow removal

Assist other workers when needed.

Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in an effective and courteous manner with coworkers and supervisors.

Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Exposure to various weather conditions (cold/hot/wind/rain/snow/ice)

Frequent movement (lifting (up to 60lbs), carrying, bending, turning and pulling)

Driving will account for approximately 75%+ of the work. Day trips are the norm, with only rare/occasional overnight trips required.

The salary range provided in this posting is intended as a general guideline. Final compensation will be determined based on a number of factors, including candidate experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location as well as internal equity and budget considerations.
