Summary
The Accounts Receivable - Summer Student role will oversee all aspects of obtaining updated applications from all active customers for all the Daybar companies. This is a practical role designed for a business student interested in a short-term internship.
Responsibilities
- Call customers to request the customer application form to be updated.
- Send the form to all customers as per the list provided by the Credit Manager.
- Create new files per customer and update all the documents related to the credit application: Customer credit application form, customer references, banking information, and credit insurance confirmation.
- Maintain confidentiality on all customer information.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program related to Accounting, Finance, or Business.
- Proficiency in excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and data entry.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Prior experience in bookkeeping or accounts receivable is an asset.
