Overview
We are seeking a professional and vigilant Bouncer to maintain a safe and secure environment at our venue. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring guest behavior, enforcing venue policies, and ensuring the safety of all patrons and staff. This role requires a strong presence, excellent judgment, and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism. Prior experience in law enforcement, surveillance, or loss prevention is highly desirable. The Bouncer will play a crucial role in preventing disturbances and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
Responsibilities
- Monitor guest activity to ensure compliance with venue policies and safety regulations
- Enforce rules regarding alcohol consumption, conduct, and entry requirements
- Identify and respond to potential security threats or disturbances promptly
- Assist in crowd control during peak times or special events
- Collaborate with staff to manage incidents effectively and document occurrences as needed
- Maintain a visible presence to deter inappropriate behavior and provide reassurance to guests
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify hazards or suspicious activity
- Support loss prevention efforts by observing for theft or unauthorized access
Requirements
- Criminal Record Check- must pass a background check & provide the results.
- Safety Training - must complete an approved safety and security training course.
- Responsible Beverage Service - must complete an approved alcohol service training programme
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally
- Excellent communication skills and a confident demeanor
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Physical fitness to stand for extended periods and respond quickly when necessary

Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour
