Position Overview
As a Retail Sales Associate, you will assist customers with product selection, maintain store presentation, process transactions, and ensure an exceptional customer experience while following all cannabis retail regulations.
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and professional customer service.
- Assist customers with product inquiries and recommendations.
- Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor.
- Verify customer identification and ensure compliance with all regulations.
- Receive, stock, and merchandise inventory.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store goals.
- Stay informed about products, promotions, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of customer service and retail experience required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
- Basic computer and cash-handling skills.
- Must have Selling it Right certificate.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of cannabis products, strains, consumption methods, and industry trends is an asset, but not required.
- Previous experience in cannabis retail is considered an asset.
