Role Definition:
We are looking for a Maintenance Ticketed candidate to assist in the daily mechanical upkeep of our facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all machines and mechanical equipment operate efficiently and safely to support production and minimize downtime.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of machinery and mechanical equipment such as CNC Lathes, Boring Mills, Truing Lathes and Wheel Presses.
- Read and interpret technical blueprints, diagrams, and manuals.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and resolve issues proactively.
- Adjust and calibrate machinery parts to ensure proper alignment and operation.
- Use hand and power tools, precision measuring instruments, and welding equipment effectively.
- Collaborate with other team members to coordinate maintenance and repair tasks.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications:
- Must possess Red Seal certification or equivalent provincial/territorial millwright certification.
- Maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of machinery and mechanical equipment such as conveyors, pumps, motors, and production machines.
- Read and interpret technical blueprints, diagrams, and manuals.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and resolve issues proactively.
- Adjust and calibrate machinery parts to ensure proper alignment and operation.
- Use hand and power tools, precision measuring instruments, and welding equipment effectively.
- Collaborate with other team members to coordinate maintenance and repair tasks.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area.

- millwright mechanic: 2 years (preferred)
- fixing hydraulics , welding: 2 years (preferred)
- Maintenance/repair of machinery and mechanical equipment: 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Millwright certification (preferred)
