Alliance Agri-Turf is an agricultural supplier that operates a network of facilities delivering products to local farmers.
Role Summary: DZ Fertilizer Tender Truck Position:
- Responsible for delivering loaded tender trucks of fertilizer to farm customers
- Spring 2021 seasonal position with overtime.
- Weekend work will be required as necessary in spring planting season (April-June)
- Driver must be comfortable driving standard (manual) transmission.
- Driver will be responsible for reporting maintenance issues with their vehicle as well as routinely cleaning it.
DZ Driver Qualifications:
- Must have a clean CVOR
- This position is based in Lindsay, Ontario with a driving range from Newmarket to Peterborough.
- Must go through safety training upon hire.
- Driver must be physically capable to climb onto fertilizer tender box to clean out bins after each load.
Working Conditions
- Overtime as required.
- Work is performed in an outdoor setting, which could include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust.
- Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50 LBS on a regular basis.
- Must be able to climb ladders on fertilizer tender boxes.
- Local knowledge of the roads would be an asset
Hourly pay is based on experience.
Contract length: 4 months
