Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to lead our retail operations. The ideal candidate will oversee daily store activities, manage staff, ensure excellent customer service, and drive sales growth. Duties
- Lead and supervise store staff, including recruiting, training, and developing team members to achieve performance goals.
- Oversee daily store operations, including merchandising, inventory management, and purchasing to optimize product presentation and stock levels.
- Manage sales strategies, pricing, and promotional activities to increase revenue and market share.
- Handle customer service issues with professionalism, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem resolution.
- Maintain accurate cash handling, bookkeeping, and POS transactions while adhering to company policies.
- Develop marketing initiatives to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
- Monitor store budgets, control expenses, and ensure compliance with financial procedures such as payroll processing and administrative tasks.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and company policies across all store functions.
- Utilize organizational skills to coordinate store activities efficiently while managing time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail sales, store management, or sales management with supervising responsibilities.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent communication skills with proficiency in negotiation, phone etiquette, and customer service.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are preferred to serve diverse customer populations effectively.
- Competence in merchandising, pricing strategies, POS systems, purchasing processes, and marketing techniques.
- Solid organizational skills with experience in administrative tasks such as bookkeeping, payroll, budgeting, and training & development.
- Ability to handle cash handling accurately and perform math calculations efficiently.
- Demonstrated time management skills with the capacity to prioritize tasks in a busy retail environment.
