Location: Central Services - Business Services
18 hours weekly following the school operational calendar - schedule to be determined with the successful applicant
Commencing August 24, 2026. This is a continuous 10-month position.
Salary grid is $19.09 to $27.61 per hour, grid placement is determined based on qualifications and experience.
Are you a detail oriented professional who takes pride in accuracy and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes? Join our Central Services team and play a key role in safeguarding the integrity of the Division’s purchasing card program. This administrative work directly supports schools and staff across the division.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful applicant will assist with the day-to-day administration of the Division’s purchasing card (P-Card) program, providing essential support to the Central Services accounting team and direct assistance to cardholders.
As a detailed, compliance-focused team member, you will support the program by:
- Auditing transaction receipts to ensure full completeness and documentation.

Verifying cardholder data entry for system accuracy and formatting.

Cross-referencing submissions against established Division financial policies.
Required qualifications :

Post-secondary certificate or diploma in office administration, bookkeeping, accounting, or a related field (an equivalent combination of education and course-specific training may be considered).

Minimum of two years of clerical office experience that includes processing financial documents, verifying records, or handling high-volume digital paperwork.

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to explain financial policies to division staff in a supportive and professional manner.

Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy, with the ability to review a large volume of transaction records for policy compliance while consistently meeting monthly accounting deadlines.

Competency navigating specialized financial software and email inboxes (experience with Atrieve ERP, BMO Spend Dynamics and/or Google Suite/Gmail is a definite asset).

An independent worker with the critical thinking skills to research discrepancies and the judgment to seek clarification when needed.
