Our client:
A leading enterprise organization based in Toronto supporting large-scale infrastructure and mission-critical environments.
Principal tasks and responsibilities include:
- Support the administration, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise virtualization infrastructure environments.
- Manage and support backup, recovery, storage, and data protection solutions across critical business systems.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, operations, security, networking, and application support teams to ensure platform stability and performance.
- Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives, including testing and continuous improvement activities.
- Respond to operational requests, troubleshooting efforts, incidents, and infrastructure changes in alignment with enterprise standards.
Qualifications and pre-requisites:
- 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise virtualization and infrastructure environments.
- Strong experience with VMware technologies within complex production environments.
- Experience supporting enterprise storage, SAN, backup, and data protection solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities within enterprise infrastructure environments.
- Experience with scripting or automation technologies such as PowerShell, Shell Scripting, or similar tools is considered an asset.
