Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technician to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in machining, assembly, and quality inspection. Responsibilities
- Prepare extrusion machines according to production specifications and schedules.
- Operate extrusion machinery to manufacture products according to established standards.
- Monitor and control the extrusion process parameters, such as temperature, speed, and pressure, to ensure optimal performance.
- Identify & monitor production dashboard/TV screens and act accordingly.
- Responsible for line setup of respective quadrant (1,2,3,4) as assigned.
- Conduct regular quality checks on extruded products to ensure they meet specifications and standards.
- Identify and troubleshoot product defects or inconsistencies, making necessary adjustments to maintain quality.
- Perform routine maintenance on extrusion equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime and maintain production flow.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on extrusion machinery.
- Analyze and monitor extrusion processes to identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, quality, and waste reduction.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
- Conduct safety checks on equipment and promptly report any safety hazards or incidents.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and environmental requirements related to extrusion operations.
- Assist in training new operators and technicians on extrusion equipment, processes, and safety protocols.
- Stay updated on new technologies, equipment, and industry best practices related to extrusion processes.
- Responsible for planning, organizing, and executing the start-up of new production lines within the respective quadrant.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with various teams for ensuring smooth operations.

Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in manufacturing or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an extrusion operator or technician in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with extrusion equipment and processes.
- Knowledge of various materials used in extrusion, including plastics, rubber, and composites.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and machine schematics.
- Proficiency in using measuring tools and equipment to perform quality checks.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.
- Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
- The position requires adherence to safety protocols and the use of PPE, including safety glasses, ear protection, and steel-toe boots.

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 48.0 per week
