In this role, you will craft beautiful floral arrangements, assist customers with their floral needs, and contribute to an inviting shopping experience.
This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in floral design, retail sales, and customer service.
Duties
- Create stunning floral arrangements for various occasions, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail
- Assist customers in selecting flowers and related products, providing expert advice on floral care and design options
- Maintain the appearance of the floral displays and retail space through regular merchandising and organization
- Handle cash register transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems, including cash handling and receipts
- Unload and clean new deliveries of flowers, place them into buckets
- Regularly change the water in buckets and keep the fridges clean and neat
- Engage with customers, enhancing communication and service for diverse clientele
- Contribute to e-commerce orders by preparing floral products for online sales and coordinating delivery or pickup arrangements
Qualifications
- Previous experience or strong interest in floral design is preffered (please send your previous works together with cv)
- Excellent communication skills in English;
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of merchandising techniques to showcase floral products effectively
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting flowers or supplies and standing for extended periods
- Passion for customer service with a friendly, energetic attitude that motivates team collaboration
