Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Security Guard/Concierge to ensure the safety and security of our premises. This role involves monitoring access points, conducting surveillance, and providing excellent customer service to visitors and staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observational skills, and the ability to handle various security situations with professionalism. Prior experience in law enforcement or security is a plus, but not required. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where safety is a top priority.
Duties
- Monitor security cameras and surveillance systems (CCTV) to oversee activity across the property
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify and address potential security issues
- Control access points by verifying credentials and managing visitor check-ins
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, following established protocols
- Assist visitors with directions, information, and general inquiries in a courteous manner
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security-related observations
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary for incident resolution
- Implement loss prevention strategies to safeguard property and assets
Skills
- Strong observational skills with keen attention to detail
- Knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV) operation and monitoring techniques
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with visitors and staff
- Basic understanding of law enforcement procedures related to security incidents
- Experience in loss prevention or related fields is advantageous
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining vigilance at all times
