- Coordination of all Rope Access personnel to meet project requirements;
- Ensure equipment and consumable inventory are adequate to meet project requirements;
- Ensure all equipment and consumable requirements are accurately communicated to the Inspection Services Manager for budget purposes;
- Ensure personnel and equipment timesheets are accurate;
- Mentor technicians, assess competency and identify training certification requirements;
- Ensure procedures and work instructions are available to technicians and are applicable to the project/scope;
- Assist with the development of proposals and estimates;
- Provide direction and technical support to other departments relating to the client’s requirements;
- Ability to discuss strategic and sensitive issues;
- Maintain and enhance business relationships with existing clients, promoting the company’s goods and services;
- Plan and conduct HAR training exercises;
- Plan and conduct HAR mock rescues prior to the execution of any Confined Space Entry activities;
- Inspect and maintain field rescue kits and rescue equipment inventory;
- Ensure we have a fully competent HAR team, and maintain HAR boards with member names;
- Complete HAR plans for maintenance activities;
- Ensure the operational safety of all rope access equipment, including that of HAR;
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the company's HSEQ program.
- Must have Level 3 IRATA certification with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in a technical role;
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the supervision of rope access technicians;
- Experience and knowledge in administering and managing an IRATA Program;
- Strong background in business development and client relations;
- Ability to interpret and make decisions on methods and techniques to be utilized for Rope Access work;
- Must be able to travel offshore on a 3-week on/off rotation;
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office.
