The Evaluation and Engagement Support team member will contribute to the Recipes for the Future project by supporting community engagement activities, workshop delivery, and program evaluation. Working closely with the project team (located across Concordia University and the New Hope Senior Citizens Centre) and community partners, they will help facilitate participant involvement, assist with evaluation activities, and support the successful implementation of project programming. This position is ideal for someone interested in community-engaged research, aging, food security, program evaluation, or social innovation.
- Support the planning and delivery of community workshops and events.
- Welcome participants and help create an inclusive, welcoming environment.
- Assist with participant registration, attendance tracking, and informed consent procedures where applicable.
- Administer surveys, questionnaires, and other evaluation activities.
- Organize and enter evaluation data while maintaining confidentiality.
- Prepare workshop materials, supplies, and participant resources.
- Document project activities through notes and photographs (with participant consent).
- Support communication with participants and community partners.
- Assist with literature reviews, meeting preparation, and general project administration.
- Contribute to project reporting by organizing evaluation findings and participant feedback.
- Perform other duties related to project implementation and evaluation.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Comfortable engaging with diverse community members, including older adults.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Experience with community engagement, research, or program evaluation is an asset.
- Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
- The candidate must be legally eligible to work in Canada
- Contract, part-time position, $35 per hour
- Flexible hours based on project activities.
- Some evening or weekend work may be required, on rare occasions.
- Work will take place remotely and in person in Montreal, and the position entails working at different community partner sites in the downtown and NDG neighbourhoods.
