We are seeking a reliable and professional Bus Driver to join our family-run team. The ideal candidate will excel in customer service and effective communication with passengers.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a bus following a set schedule and route
- Ensure the safety of passengers during transit
- Provide excellent customer service to all passengers
- Maintain a clean and organized bus interior
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license with a clean driving record
- Fluent in English to effectively communicate with students and parent
- Experience working with children in a school or similar setting
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance on the school bus
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with students and school staff
Experience
- Three years of previous experience in commercial driving is required
- Mechanical knowledge for basic bus maintenance is a plus
- Effective communication in English is required
- Experience working with children passengers is advantageous
- Vulnerable sector Screening Check (VSS) is required
- Three year abstract is required.
