Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Business Process Analyst to support operational, business, and technology-enabled initiatives
across the organization. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying business needs, analyzing business and operational
processes, eliciting and documenting requirements, and recommending solutions that support business transformation, process
improvement, and organizational objectives.
You will work collaboratively with business and technical stakeholders across multiple departments to support cross-functional
initiatives, business change, and the successful delivery of strategic priorities. The position requires strong analytical,
communication, and relationship management skills, the ability to manage competing priorities, and the capability to drive outcomes
in a complex and evolving business environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional planning, business readiness activities, dependency tracking, and stakeholder coordination among
business, operational, and technical stakeholders to help align business processes with technology implementation.
- Lead business capability assessments by identifying current capabilities, future business needs, operational gaps, and
opportunities for improvement.
- Facilitate decision-making by presenting options, impacts, risks, trade-offs, and recommendations that support informed
business decisions.
- Apply systems thinking to understand the relationships between people, processes, technology, data, governance, and
organizational objectives when developing recommendations.
- Elicit, analyze, validate, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements through workshops, interviews,
and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Conduct current-state and future-state business process analysis and process mapping to identify operational inefficiencies,
risks, opportunities for improvement, and business needs.
- Develop and maintain business requirements documents, use cases, process maps, workflow diagrams, and other business
analysis artifacts.
- Prepare and present analyses, reports, presentations, and strategic recommendations to leadership, stakeholders, and
project teams to support informed decision-making, resource allocation, and program prioritization.
- Perform gap analyses, root cause analyses, and impact assessments to support business and technology initiatives.
- Recommend solutions that align business objectives, operational requirements, regulatory obligations, and technical
capabilities.
- Represent System Operations in business analysis and process improvement activities related to operational technology, grid
modernization, and Modern Customer Solutions initiatives. Collaborate with program sponsors, business stakeholders, and
technical teams to ensure System Operations requirements, priorities, and operational considerations are understood,
incorporated, and supported throughout the planning and delivery of strategic initiatives.
