We are a fast growing boutique, downtown Toronto based accounting practice looking for a junior accountant/bookkeeper to join our team. Our firms focuses on tax advisory, compliance and accounting work - we do not do any audits or review engagements!
We are looking for someone looking to break into the field; assist with bookkeeping functions, personal income tax returns, ad hoc as necessary and move up in the firm.
The following would be preferred but not mandatory:
- Experience in using Caseware, Caseview and Taxprep (or Profile);
- Experience in a Canadian small - mid size CPA firms;
- Tax knowledge and experience in working with owner managed business;
- Working towards designation preferred but not mandatory;
- Experience in working with professionals (healthcare and other) will be looked upon favourably.
Great communication skills will help the successful candidate succeed in this role.
