Overview
We are seeking friendly, energetic, and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Host/Hostess/Busser. The position requires weekend availability. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and ensuring smooth restaurant operations. Prior experience in hospitality or food service is a plus, but we value enthusiasm and a positive attitude above all. Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival
- Escort guests to their tables and present menus with professionalism
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including resetting tables promptly
- Assist servers by clearing and resetting tables as needed (busser duties)
- Handle guest inquiries courteously and provide accurate information about the menu and restaurant policies
- Utilize POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and billing when required
- Manage phone inquiries with proper phone etiquette, including reservations and general questions
- Support team members to ensure a seamless dining experience for all guests
- Uphold cleanliness standards in all guest-facing areas and adhere to health and safety guidelines
- Process orders on skip the dishes and takeout
Skills
- Strong guest service orientation with a friendly demeanor
- Experience in serving, hosting, or bussing in a restaurant setting preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of restaurant POS systems, especially Micros POS, is advantageous
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Professional phone etiquette for handling reservations and inquiries
- Team player with reliable work ethic and positive attitude
- Basic food service knowledge and understanding of customer service principles
This role is perfect as an entry level part time position for individuals interested in the hospitality industry.
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
