Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic IT Teacher for our daycare to support early childhood development through engaging technology-based learning. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching young children, possess strong communication skills, and be capable of creating a nurturing educational environment. Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate IT curriculum tailored for young children in a daycare setting
- Introduce basic computer operation and software skills to children, ensuring a fun and interactive learning experience
- Incorporate bilingual instruction, including English and French, to promote language development
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting teaching methods and providing inclusive activities
- Monitor and assess children's progress in technology-related skills and provide feedback to parents and staff
- Maintain a safe, organized classroom environment conducive to learning and exploration
- Collaborate with caregivers and other educators to integrate IT activities into overall developmental programs
- Use effective time management to balance instructional time with play-based learning activities
Skills
- Proficiency in English and French, with bilingual abilities highly preferred
- Strong background in childcare, early childhood education, or special education
- Experience working with children, including those with disabilities or special needs
- Excellent communication skills for engaging young learners and collaborating with team members
- Solid computer skills including basic operation of educational software and classroom technology tools
- Ability to organize classroom activities efficiently and manage time effectively
- Leadership qualities to guide children through learning experiences while maintaining classroom discipline
- Strong writing skills for documenting progress reports and communicating with parents
- Organizational skills necessary for lesson planning, resource management, and maintaining a structured learning environment

Pay: $17.85-$30.61 per hour
