IRATA Rope Access Window Cleaning Technicians (Level 1–3)High-Rise Work – Edmonton | Established Company Since 2004
Excellent Window Cleaning is seeking IRATA Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 technicians with professional window cleaning experience for high-rise window cleaning and façade access work throughout Edmonton.
Serving Edmonton’s high-rise buildings since 2004, we are expanding and strengthening our rope access team with experienced window cleaning technicians who value safety, efficiency, craftsmanship, and strong team culture.
You will be joining a professional crew that works closely together and takes pride in doing the job right.
All rope work is conducted under IRATA Level 3 supervision with proper rescue planning, maintained equipment, and strict adherence to IRATA safety standards.
Compensation
Pay based on IRATA level and experience:
Level 1: $30 – $35 / hr
Level 2: $35 – $40 / hr
Level 3: $40 – $50 / hr

Scope of Work
- Rope access high-rise window cleaning (primary scope)
- Commercial window cleaning and façade maintenance
- Occasional industrial rope access work depending on project scope
- Occasional pure water pole system work (up to 60 ft)
- Occasional swing stage work (rare – approximately 1% of jobs)
Most work is commercial high-rise and mid-rise buildings throughout Edmonton.
Some travel is required for select projects 2–3 times per year, typically up to four days per trip.
Requirements
- Valid IRATA certification (Level 1, 2, or 3)
- IRATA logbook required
- Proven window cleaning experience (high-rise or commercial required)
- Able to adapt to changing weather conditions
- Strong safety mindset and good rope discipline
- Valid Class 5 driver's license (or equivalent)
- Based in Edmonton or able to relocate for the season
Bonus Experience
- Rope rescue experience
- Industrial rope access experience
- High-rise window cleaning
- Pure water systems
- Construction or maintenance background
