Summary
We are looking for a Corporate Finance Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be expected to lead the execution of corporate finance transaction closings and high-complexity insurance placements, in support of both clients and the firm itself. This will include the completion of valuations of client-owned businesses, various corporate finance, and estate planning activities in support of clients (including corporate finance transactions of varying complexity), detailed financial analysis and modelling, and other ad-hoc client-facing activities.

Your role will include:
- Developing complex financial models for corporate finance transactions in diversified industries
- Managing due diligence processes, including managing third-party advisors
- Valuing assets using a variety of approaches
- Preparing client presentations and actively participating in discussions
- Researching potential opportunities; providing research on clients’ companies, sectors, industries, and geographies
Required Skills or Experience
- No experience beyond internships is required, but up to two of years of experience in investment banking, corporate development, financial accounting, business valuation or similar industries is an asset
- An undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, commerce, business, statistics, or other related fields
- Ability to concisely communicate complex concepts and ideas verbally and in writing
- Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision
- Desire to assume increasing levels of responsibility and seek solutions to complex problems
- Committed to producing accurate and thorough work product under tight deadlines
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced work environment
- Resilient mindset in the face of adversity
Salary and Benefits
- $120,000 base salary with opportunity for significant incremental bonus subject to performance
