We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Casual Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for staff and visitors. Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in commercial settings
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas according to established standards
- Use cleaning equipment and supplies effectively and safely
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper as needed
- Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as required to support overall building upkeep
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning or commercial cleaning preferred but not required
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance and basic maintenance procedures is advantageous
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
- Good physical stamina to perform cleaning duties efficiently
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow safety guidelines effectively
